How to be fearless

Fear is always there. You can’t choose sometimes, it is just there. But fear is not always wrong. It can stop you from doing things that could make you happy or it can be your savior.

The clue is listening to your heart.

What does your heart tells you? Is it something wrong? Or is something so good that you are just too scared of being disappointed at the end, or too scared of failing. Think about it. What is it?

If the fear is in your mind, then the fear is stopping you from something that could make you happy, but if the fear is in your heart, then it’s probably saving you from something bad that could happen.

Your heart knows it well, and it could never betray you. Listen to it, and sooner it won’t be fear what you’re feeling, it will be just a sign, and then you will be fearless.

Much love,

A message to depressed people.

Dear you:

You been sad for so long. You already forgot how real happiness feels like.

Don’t blame yourself. Don’t blame others.

I just want you to know that depressed people get sick because their souls are getting ready for a great future. And once you get out of there you will be capable of doing things you never knew you could.

If you’re going through an unstoppable storm don’t keep the pain, transform it into something inspiring. A story, a photo, a drawing, a song. You don’t have any idea of how many people can feel inspired because of you. Even if you are not okay you can always help others.

Keep going. ALWAYS.

The world do not stops for anyone, and you need to keep going, but listen, to keep going doesn’t mean you need to do it the same way you were.

If you don’t like any of the possible ways you could took, then build one. Build your own way, but focus on getting better.

Give yourself a break from everything you’re doing. It doesn’t matter if it’s important what you’re doing. Nothing is more important than your own health, and you mental health is not alright.

Do what you need to get better, but never stop fighting.

You have time, and you don’t remember it that often. You have time, and you are smart.

You are strong and nobody said it was going to be better from a day to another, so take your time and don’t feel pressure. Take the time you need but DON’T STOP. Keep fighting.

Remember that the only thing that matters now is your OWN happiness, not your family’s, not your friends’.

Don’t be scared of failing. If I did it, I’m pretty sure you will do it too.

Stop surviving and learn how to live.

Believe in yourself.

Don’t give up.

Oh, and I’m proud of you.

Much Love,

Thinking about life.

Life isn’t always as wanted. Most of the times we wish things were different but they aren’t. I have always been ambitious, I have always been deeper that everyone else, and yeah, that sucks sometimes. Most of the times I’m misunderstood. People just don’t get me because I have different points of view of life. I’m a fighter and a warrior, I fight for what I want, I fight for what I need and I believe there is nothing wrong about it.

Nevertheless, I know life is beautiful and I’m in love with it.

The world is a place full of very interesting things, and we all look for what we think is the best. You need to believe in something if you want to be happy, otherwise you won’t have any goals and you will feel empty.

Don’t be that someone who dreams about something but never works for it. Don’t be that someone who criticize somebody else’s dreams. Don’t kill people’s happiness. Let them be.

Don’t be scared of reaching what you want, you may lose, you may fail a lot of times, but that’s what will get you to success. Because success  is not when you get it in the first try, it is when you failed lots of times but you recovered and keep going.

Much Love,

20 Songs Tag

Hello everyone! I’ve been reading and watching people doing this tag and I thought it was going to be fun to do it so here it is:

1.Favorite Song

Easy, Vienna from Billy Joel, this song describes me and I love it. I listen to it every time I’m sad and it always makes me feel better.

2. Song that you hate the most

Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, this song is disgusting and I don’t like it at all.

3. Song that makes you feel sad

Okay, every time I’m feeling happy and I listen to these songs I start feeling a little bit sad and it’s because the songs sound so dang sad. The songs are Heartless by The Fray and Wings by Birdy. It’s hard for me to choose just one, but I need to mention Explorers by Muse, I cried my heart out listening to that song. Also I used to listen to these songs when I was dealing with really bad stuff once in my life.

4. Song that reminds you of someone

There are a lot of songs that remind me of different people but I think that there are two songs that will always remind me of someone.

The first one is My Way by Frank Sinatra, this song reminds me a lot to my grandma and the other song is called Always Be Together by Little Mix, this song reminds me of my 3 best friends from middle school (long time ago though).

5. Song that makes you happy

Probably Just For Tonight by Olly Murs, his music makes me happy most of the time.

6. Song that reminds you of a specific moment

Shine by Birdy, it helped me to feel better a time when I really felt left out by some people I used to love.

7. Song whose lyrics you know perfectly

I’m proud to say that I know the full lyrics from You Need Me I Don’t Need You by Ed Sheeran.

8. Song that makes you want to dance

Right now every time I listen to Sax by Fleur East I have the necessity of dancing.

9. Song that helps you sleep

For sure the song that helps me sleep is Wake Me Up by Ed Sheeran, how ironic isn’t it?

10. Song that you secretly like

I still like some Hannah Montana songs so…

11. Song that makes you feel identified

This song used to be Heart of Gold from Birdy, it was my song, but now I think it’s probably Happy by Marina And The Diamonds and She Used To Be Mine by Sara Bareilles.

12. Song that you used to love but now you hate

I know it’s crazy but I used to love Untitled by Simple Plan because I felt really identified with it when I was depressed but now every time I listen to it I feel so bad, it’s not sad, it’s depressing and now I really don’t like to listen to it.

13. Song from your favorite CD

What!? Dang, I have a lot of favorite CDs, but okay, right now my favorite CD is Get Weird by Little Mix and the song I choose is Secret Love Song Part II because dang, it’s so so deep!!

14. Song that you can play with an instrument

Haha, well, I have a bunch of printed songs that I enjoy playing the whole time and there are at least a hundred songs…but maybe one of my favorites to play is Everything by Michel Buble in guitar which is one of my favorites songs in the world and in piano Obsessions by Marina And The Diamonds.

15. Song that you would love to sing in public

I love to sing, that is a fact, but I’m so scared of doing it in public, I just get so nervous but if I needed to I would love to sing Manhattan by Sara Bareilles or any Sara Bareilles’ song.

16. Song that you love to hear when you are driving

Okay, while I’m the car I enjoy almost every song that I like, but Falling by HAIM is really cool.

17. Song from your childhood

What Dreams Are Made Of by Lizzie Mcguire (Hilary Duff), no doubt.

18. Song that nobody would imagine you to like

Maybe Supremacy by Muse, or Highway to Hell by AC/DC.

I want people to sing the songs I write on my funeral, but they won’t so… I think Yesterday by Leona Lewis is a nice option.

20. Song that you want to be played on your wedding

Make You Feel My Love by Adele is everything, but Day Too Soon by Sia needs a space in here too.

And that is all. I really tried to put just one song but I really love music and putting just one has way to hard for me, so I’m sorry hehe.

Anyways, thank you for reading!

Much Love-Firma

Get Weird by Little Mix

You guys know how much I love to write about music and by some reason I forgot to talk about this incredible album by these lovely girls from Little Mix. The alum is called Get Weird and I absolutely love it.

These girls make really good music, at least you end up liking one of their songs, they have a little bit of everything, you can listen to some balads, catchy pop songs, accapella,  even rapping parts are inside some of their album. Something I really need to stand out about this is their harmonies and their voices. They really can sing. Soprano voices with some vibratos, belting, a lot of beautiful singing techniques are applied in here and it’s really awesome.

You all need to listen Secret Love Song Part II, they have another version of the song with Jason Derulo which is good, but this version I’m telling you is just brilliant.

You have probably heard their songs “Black Magic” & “Love Me Like You“, those are the most popular from their album, but the whole album is FANTASTIC. It has a little bit of the 90’s essence mixed with the actual essence.

I hope you give it a chance because Jade, Perrie, Leigh-Anne and Jesy are one of the most talented ladies out there in the music industry.

Much love- Firma

How can I let go?

Letting go is never easy, and it’s even harder when you love what you need to let go, but believe me it is possible.

We tend to give a lot of importance to things and people that aren’t worth it enough. And with this I’m saying that sometimes we hold on tight to small things that seem bigger than they actually are, and the worst of all, it is probably harming us.

In my own experience I have loved people so much when they don’t even deserve it, and I’m talking about friends. Friends that have told me that they would be there for me at any time and that we were going to keep the friendship forever. Words like “forever”, “never”, “true” or “real” are words that makes us feel safe, making us believe in invisible things. We can’t see it, but it feels good, do you get me? This words also makes us expect too much, and watching everything turn into another direction it’s really disappointing, but somehow some of us keep believing that those words have a real meaning, and here is when we struggle with letting go.

The question here is: How can I let go?

  • First of all, as humans we need to know our own worth. We know or at least we have an idea of what we deserve, so think about it. Is it worth it? Honestly, just answer that to yourself, stop giving excuses to stick with it, just tell yourself the truth and don’t be scared of admitting the answer you already know.
  • Second, how much damage is this causing us? Because ladies and gentleman, we all need pain to learn, but there is a limit and we need to recognize when it’s time to let go.
  • Don’t overthink. Easy to say, hard to actually do it. You must know how exhausting is overthinking, this just makes us feel stressed and anxious, it can actually bring consequences to our health. Try to relax and let it be.
  • Finally, let the time heal. It’s important for you to know that you won’t feel okay from a day to another but in some months or even weeks, depending of the circunstancies everything will be fine again. Don’t pressure yourself to feel nothing, it’s okay if you miss it, it’s okay to feel a little sad, but keep in mind that you are better without it.

It’s hard, we all know it, but we are strong enough to do it. If I did it you can do it too. This year make sure to let go of everything and everyone who doesn’t deserve a to be a part of your life. There’s too many toxic people out there, you don’t need to have them near to you, and there are a lot of problems and struggles that are making a mess in your head right now.

It’s your time to be free, it’s your time to be happy.

Let yourself get you deserve.

Much Love, –Firma

Christmas Music

As you may know, music is one of my favorite things, so in order to that I want to share with you my favorite Christmas albums.

I’m a big fan of Leona Lewis & Michael Bublé and as a consequence I really like their Christmas music.

So first, Leona Lewis. If you haven’t listen to her I have no idea how is that even possible, she has one of the strongest vocals in the actual music industry and she clearly can sing beautifully. This woman has real talent.

Her album is called Christmas with Love and it includes a lot of the most famous Christmas songs but obviously in her own version. She also includes her very own Christmas song “One more sleep” which is a really good song and is actually one of my favorites. Vocally, this album is great, and I mean, is Christmas music! So you should listen to it.

Now, Michael Bublé. Have you heard him? I haven’t met someone who actually hates him, I mean, everybody loves him! Even though he does a lot of covers, his own songs are amazing, and yes, his Christmas album is great too.

His album is just called Christmas, but hey, he made those songs sound really well. There’s not a year I don’t listen to his album at Christmas, my whole family loves it, and we all sing along to the Christmas melodies.

I think he did a good job with this album, and maybe this could get to be a classic someday. I recommend this a lot, you should give it a chance.

I hope you like these two albums as much as I like them!

Merry Christmas everbody!!

Much love, Lu Begali.
